How to have the most SHINY BUT NOT GREASY hair
Follow these steps to remove any buildup that can be coating the hair and making it appear dull first – This also allows for maximum absorption of next products
Step 1️⃣ – Formula 18 purifying shampoo-
A ⭐️ scalp brush can really help you to exfoliate dead skin cells, old product buildup and oils from the scalp and also stimulate circulation (this is good to do regularly but not frequently if you have hard water, use a lot of dry shampoo’s or aerosol sprays, wash only once/week, or work out a lot)
In between the purifying I recommend the bodifying shampoo + conditioner from formula 18 bc the low pH level seals down open cuticles and promotes shine in a different way than oils or serums that sit on top of the hair do.
💡Ways to promote shiny hair naturally:
- Taking daily vitamins
- collagen peptides
- Eating 75-100% of your body weight in grams of protein everyday
- Drinking enough water
- Blow drying the hair from the roots to the ends with tension to smooth it with a brush that has a lot of boar bristles close together that grip the hair tightly but also glide through your sections as you work
- Keeping up with your recommended hair color maintenance on time if you color your hair
💡 Products that promote shine but don’t weight down fine hair across (my favorites across all brands are:
F18 leave in conditioner- https://totalbeautyexp.com/products
F18 shine spray – https://totalbeautyexp.com/products
Sebastian potion 9 – https://amzn.to/3JnVTco
And potion 9 lite- https://amzn.to/3PUx36f
Oribe royal blowout spray – https://amzn.to/3JlQ5A6
Oribe airstyle pomade – https://www.oribe.com/oribestorefront
Color wow dreamcoat spray- https://amzn.to/3BzS8ig
Bristle brush – spornette 855 – https://amzn.to/3QaL3Zj
Tip for any shine enhancing products: distribute the product in hands first and apply to ends … blotting hands on a towel if U picked up too much product ..you can always go back and add more.. and working the remaining product into the hair higher up .
I hope these tips are helpful!
