A Few of My Favorite Hair Products (With Heat Protection)
Heat protection is the most important part of your styling regime. If you want to have healthy beautiful hair, you need to protect it and nourish it and prevent damage. Damaged hair never looks glossy and rich and saturated with beautiful color. It looks dry and dull and loses it’s bounce and becomes brittle. In addition to a weekly mask, I apply a product with heat protection properties before I blow dry AND again before I place any hot tools on the hair (flat iron/curling iron/wand/hot rollers). If you style with ANY heat, even if you just use the hair dryer for a few minutes, your hair will benefit from any help you give it. Here are just a few of the products I like to use to protect my hair before applying heat to it (some can be applied wet before a blowout and some dry before you iron):
