Amazon Root Touch-Up Powder Review

The gray hair situation is exactly that… a situation.  What do you do to cover in between visits to the salon?  

Personally, I like powders over other products and I’ll tell you why.  They’re DRY!  They’re not sticky, tacky, wet, greasy, waxy, or any other unpleasant consistency.  They don’t require you to shampoo more frequently, they actually absorb oils and help your blowouts last longer while covering grey roots at the same time.  

I compared 4 of the most popular root touch-up powders from Amazon.  Here are the 4 I tested:

Bonus:

1.You can use it to make your part appear more dense.  A lot of my clients tell me their hair is thinning, or their part is getting wider or more prominent.  Powders take away that shiny scalp if it’s exposed anywhere more than you would like it to be.  

2.  You have a cowlick that always splits.  Put some touch-up powder right there in the center of the cowlick and it will never bother you again.  

3.  Any “snatched” look requires some camouflage around the recession areas.  Even a simple ponytail can benefit from a little filling in around the front hairline.

4.  You can use it to fill in your eyebrows too!
