This is my opinion based on 18 years of experience as a hairstylist.
We all have our reasons for picking the products we use; smell, price, it’s conveniently located right next to something else you’re already purchasing, etc.. But do your products actually change your hair? I’m not talking smooth it and coat it to make it look healthier, I’m talking actually do something to change it from the inside on a structural level? All Formula 18 Haircare products from shampoo to leave-in conditioner all contain their patented plant based bond builder to reinforce the bonds that make up the hair. I use it at my backbar and include the treatment mask in every color service. The low pH formula neutralizes the hair and seals the cuticle making hair easier to comb and style, and leaves it shinier and stronger.
