The Styling TOOLS I Use Everyday
These are my must have tools in my everyday styling kit:
Parlux 3800 Hair Dryer – I love how powerful this dryer is and how small the concentrator is. It gives me maximum heat and control to really seal the cuticle and polish the hair.
Y.S. Park #336 Comb – For wrap drying, cutting and flat ironing. This comb is made of hard rubber, so it won’t melt.
Y.S. Park Clips – Not with the teeth so they can slide in between brushes in sets. You can also use them to section the hair.
Dyson Hair Dryer – I like that it’s compact and easy to hold but still powerful.
Mason Pearson Popular Brush – Best all around brush, grabs every little hair, good for brushing/detangling, blow drying bangs, wrap-drying and pony-tails.
Wet Brush – Best for getting out tangles (the wet brush shine has added boar bristles so it’s good for blow drying too).
Spornette Brushes – “The Italian collection” are my go-to boar bristle round brushes (lightweight and great for setting the hair, they grab with really nice tension which helps polish hair so it’s super smooth).
Hot Tools Curling Iron – These irons and curling wands are amazing for the price, they have a really long life span and can take some abuse. Bonus: you can control the temperature.
GHD Platinum Flat Iron – This is the best flat iron I have ever purchased. It leaves the hair like glass after one pass, doesn’t get too hot, and doesn’t pull any hairs. It just glides so smoothly and can be used for waves/curls too bc of the bevelled edge.
After almost 20 years of testing tools out all day, everyday, these are some of the tools I have really come to rely on. My dad always told me to invest in my tools if they help me do a better job.
