Tips (For Blondes)
Bright beautiful multi-dimensional blonde is radiant truly!! 🌟🌟🌟
To keep your blonde healthy, beautiful, and glowing here are my tips:
1️⃣ Use sulphate free professional shampoo + conditioner for at-home maintenance. For my blondes especially i recommend #formula18 because of it’s bond building capabilites. This not only ensures your hair is it’s healthiest after hair color services but also stays healthy for the next time you color also! You want something that repairs existing damage and prevents further damage.
2️⃣ Easy does it on the HEAT 🥵- if you must use an iron then you MUST use a heat protectant also. Not only is lightened hair more susceptible to damage, it’s already somewhat compromised… and a hot iron can literally char your blonde and make it a nice flattering shade of toast 🍞… literally darkening that bright pretty blonde to blah (450 degrees F = burning/melting territory). 🔥 I swear by #formula18 thermal mist
3️⃣ Be consistent with your appointments. If you can’t properly maintain your blonde, it will never be pretty or healthy. The banding and inconsistent coloring requires additional lifting and toning to achieve an even canvas but now you have inconsistent porosity levels throughout the hair that will always take color differently and can look splotchy. Proper in-salon maintenance appointments for trims and re-touches and being consistent will get you the best results always.
Blonde is a commitment. It’s not for everyone. BUT when it’s properly maintained and healthy it’s literally head-turning! 🤤🤩🌟
